07/14/2003 Entry: "Sick of Photographers"

The last month has been busy with wedding planning and decisions. One thing I've learned so far, weddings are EXPENSIVE. Of course, every bride wants the best of everything -- photographer, reception venue, dress, etc., but after considering how much things will cost, the definition of 'best' can be stretched out a little.

I think I've emailed more than 15 photographers. I've met with 3 and am meeting 2 more by Wednesday. The first photographer would cost me about $5000, and the last one I met would cost about $1900 -- but then again, the first one has done hundreds of weddings while the last one a mere 4. I don't know... it's all starting to look the same to me.

Garry and I are going to the French Laundry tonight, and coincidentally, it's Bastille Day!

I've been baking here and there, but am starting to feel restless. Believe it or not, each day passes by quickly, and whenever someone asks me: "What have you been doing?", I really don't know what to say. It's just hard to explain.
